Ventherm A/S sikrer banebrydende robotprojekt med Lamprell

We are proud to announce that Ventherm A/S has been selected by Lamprell to deliver an advanced robotic solution for the surface treatment of transition pieces used in offshore wind foundations.

This project is a first-of-its-kind in the industry, introducing a fully automated system designed to meet the complex geometries and demanding performance standards of offshore wind components.

The scope of the project includes the delivery and integration of:

• A Blastman blasting robot for automated surface preparation
• A Ventherm paint robot operating within a 140-meter-long paint booth, engineered for large-scale offshore components and capable of handling the complexity of transition pieces
• A turnkey paint equipment package for heavy-duty coating systems
• Automatic programming capabilities, enabling the robots to adapt to varying geometries and specifications with minimal manual input

This comprehensive solution ensures consistent quality, increased productivity, and optimized resource use—setting a new benchmark for surface treatment in the wind industry.
